Goa is the land of beaches that attracts tourists all over the world. It is the smallest state in India and fourth smallest in respect to population. Goa well known for its temples, churches, and world heritage architecture, moreover it has the biggest pilgrimage Christian pilgrimage sites, being located on the Western Ghats range known as Biodiversity Hotspot it is obvious for this place to be rich in flora and fauna.

Goa is a small place but the Goa international airport very well caters to the domestic as well as the international tourists. The airport is situated in Dabolim at a distance of 30 km from the state capital Panjim. The airport is basically a military base which is used as a civilian airport. The airport with two terminals- the domestic and the international, where in the international terminal is designed to process 250 arrivals and departures simultaneously. Several domestic and international airlines like Air India, Jet Airways, Air Sahara, Kingfisher Deccan and Indian Airlines operate from Goa Airport. So much is the flow of traffic that the airport ranks among the top ten in respect to traffic. The Goa airport has sufficient car parking facility where 114 cars and six coaches can be accommodated. It facilitates the passengers with duty free shops, refreshment zones, restaurants, prepaid taxi service, International Money exchange, and free baggage trolleys, rest rooms for transit passengers, inter- terminal bus service, child care room and wheel chair.
